Separate the probe range from module conditions
W-S03 lists a measurement range of −60 to +200 °C, while the readout module has its own −20 to +65 °C operating-temperature range. These figures describe different parts of the measurement arrangement. They should not be substituted for each other when discussing the proposed equipment location.
Specify the complete probe assembly
Confirm the probe, fibre length, connector and readout module as one configuration. The listed ST connector and fibre-length options do not define an arbitrary interchangeable optical assembly. Request the drawing and handling information for the version being evaluated.
The 5 V supply also has a stated ripple requirement. Include the host supply and UART electrical interface in the integration brief; a digital output label alone does not identify the full message format or host configuration.
Evaluate the required temperature record
The listed 2 Hz sampling rate and 0.1 °C display resolution are distinct from the measurement-error specification. Define the reference method, required reporting behaviour and actual probe/module conditions for the sample. Keep other probe variants and their temperature figures out of the W-S03 acceptance record unless that different model is explicitly selected.
