What to include in your brief
- What the end product does and where it will operate.
- Mandatory dimensions, voltage, current, communication interfaces and environmental limits.
- Existing components that the new selection must work with.
- Project stage, evaluation needs and estimated production quantity.
- Target market and the documentation your team needs to review.
Customization scope
Mechanical form, cable configuration, connectors, interfaces, branding and packaging requests are reviewed with the relevant supplier. Feasibility, engineering work, tooling, minimum quantities and timing depend on the selected product and scope.
Before any development work, agree on the deliverables, supported interfaces, sample iterations, revision ownership and change process. An enquiry does not confirm that a customization is available.
Sample review and supply
Agree on the exact configuration, test conditions and acceptance criteria. Confirm sample cost, support scope and shipping before proceeding. Record what was evaluated and which questions remain open.
When moving toward production, confirm the selected model and revision, the required documentation, commercial terms, inspection arrangements and responsibilities for quality feedback or changes.
Working responsibilities
ModuWeave organizes the requirements and coordinates the agreed supplier discussion. The supplier provides model-specific technical information and manufacturing support within the agreed scope. The customer and implementation team are responsible for the complete system and its destination-market requirements.
The sales contract, payment, warranty and support arrangement are confirmed for each transaction. Supplier capabilities are not represented as ModuWeave’s own factory or certification.
