Documentation and model revisions

Catalogue specifications describe the listed model or family using manufacturer documentation. Request the current model-specific revision before making an engineering or purchasing decision. Published values are not independent ModuWeave test results.

Conditions to check

  • For solar products, distinguish the module rating from the power available at an output connector. Review voltage matching, mounting support and permitted handling.
  • For CT-powered temperature sensing, check the minimum load current at the actual measuring point. Radio range inside equipment depends on the installation.
  • For UWB, separate distance and angle measurements from the performance of the complete positioning or following system.
  • For converters, check the voltage window, operating mode, controls, enclosure and the selected battery configuration together.

Sample evaluation scope

Before arranging samples, identify the bill of materials, hardware and software revisions, test environment, measurement method, support tasks and acceptance criteria. Costs, quantities, timing and responsibilities are confirmed with the relevant parties.

An observation from one configuration cannot automatically be applied to another model, installation or market. Changes to firmware, interfaces, components or mechanical design may require a further review.
