Start with the variant, not only the series name
The hybrid-inverter series lists rated-power options of 4.6 / 5 / 6 / 7.2 / 8 kW, a 42–58 V battery voltage range and RS485 / CAN battery communication. Its protection rating is IP66 or IP65, depending on model.
Keep those family-level qualifications visible. Selecting a power label alone does not confirm enclosure details, current limits, cooling or the battery combination for a proposed installation.
Build the configuration questions in separate rows
| Review boundary | Supply with the enquiry | Request for the chosen model |
|---|---|---|
| Battery electrical window | Battery configuration and applicable operating limits | Input/current limits and supported configuration |
| BMS communications | BMS model, hardware/firmware revision and available protocol information | Specific support/compatibility documentation |
| Grid and backup task | Destination market, phases and required operating modes | Applicable grid/backup descriptions and market documents |
| Installation environment | Enclosure, mounting, temperature and service constraints | Protection, cooling and mounting information |
| System control | Existing supervisory equipment and required response | Controls, status, faults and responsibility boundaries |
RS485 or CAN appearing on both devices is not enough to close the communications row. Ask which protocol and revisions are supported; no message set is inferred by this page.
State what the system must do
Describe the household/site load context and the intended operating modes. If a backup transition or another behaviour is important, make it an explicit requirement for the parties reviewing the complete system.
This catalogue does not supply a complete matched battery/PV configuration. Additional equipment may be needed, and the installation’s engineering and market requirements are assessed for the proposed project.
What an evaluation handoff should contain
Keep the exact inverter variant, battery/BMS details, drawings/documents, operating conditions and unresolved questions together. Agree who plans and accepts representative operating-mode, thermal and control-interface checks. Do not replace those records with a broad claim that the series is already certified for the entire installation.
Use power converter selection to check units and interfaces. Send the project brief when you can identify the next configuration decision, even if some inputs remain open.
Sources & review scope
This application page scopes a model-specific review using the published inverter family. It does not identify an approved battery list, certify grid connection or report a completed installation.
