A local two-dimensional reference
GC-P2304-Q outputs X and Y coordinates, distance and angle relative to its own position. Start by deciding whether that local reference fits the monitoring area and the coordinates required by the host application. A single-anchor arrangement still needs a site-specific coverage review.
Connect the coordinate output to the host
The station lists RS485 data output and a GX16 connector. Request the exact pinout, data format, baud configuration and supported tag revision before specifying cables or software. GC-P2303-Q is a listed tag option; confirm the complete station-and-tag configuration rather than treating any UWB tag as interchangeable.
Channel selection and the destination market belong in that review. The distance and angle figures also need separate acceptance criteria: an angle figure is not itself an absolute coordinate-error guarantee across the whole area.
Check coverage with the intended tags
Agree on mounting location, reference points and representative obstructions. Record coordinates and unavailable readings at those points, then review how the host identifies tags and uses the resulting position data. Include the actual power-supply arrangement and antenna envelope in the installation discussion.
