Resolve both sides of the DC conversion
The listed models are DC-DC-750V-300A and DC-DC-750V-800A. Their current ratings and mechanical dimensions differ, so the model name alone is not a complete selection. The published input-voltage window also does not define every permitted input/output combination.
Describe the source and receiving DC systems separately, including their voltage windows and required current. Request the model-specific output limits and operating envelope before deciding where the converter fits in the storage architecture.
Agree on how the module is controlled
The documentation lists constant-voltage, constant-current and constant-power modes, with CAN bus and RS485 communication. Ask how the selected model receives commands and reports its state, and which control documentation applies to the firmware under review. The interface names are not a protocol-compatibility guarantee.
Include the enclosure in the evaluation
Forced-air cooling makes the proposed thermal environment and airflow arrangement part of the brief. Review the manufacturer’s drawings, cooling requirements and host controls together. A useful sample record identifies the exact converter, control mode, DC conditions and enclosure configuration used for the evaluation.
